AM.IC. A designs, organizes and offers educational services from the smallest (from 3 months) to the oldest (adults and elderly) with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles. In particular, it deals with: programming and management of social, health, cultural, educational, recreational, therapeutic-rehabilitation, motor and psychomotor services in support of individuals, families, communities and entities operating in the field of social assistance in general.

Right now AM.IC. A is specialized in offering companies practical solutions to improve the so-called "organizational well-being", promoting the preservation of the physical, psychological and social well-being of workers for all levels and roles of the organization.

AM.IC.A SOCIETA' COOPERATIVA SOCIALE, Italy

POLIBIENESTAR, Institute for Research in Social Welfare Policies, directed by Jorge Garcés, is a public research institute belonging to the University of Valencia, specialized in research and social innovation, as well as technical advice and training in the field of social policies. It is composed of more than 100 researchers from different disciplines of the University of Valencia and 9 other partner universities, 7 Spanish and 3 international.

The Institute, with more than 10 years of experience, develops applied research with an interdisciplinary and holistic approach on economic, social, political and technical sustainability of welfare systems, all focused on society in general and vulnerable groups, as well as business groups and the third sector.  Specifically, Polibienestar's research revolves around 3 lines of research Health (integrated care, long-term care, health promotion and disease prevention, mental health, active and healthy aging, public health and training), Sustainability and Governance (circular economy, sustainable cities, democracy and participation, citizen science) and Innovation and inclusive education (digital literacy, training design).

Prolepsis Institute, a civil non-for-profit organization, was established in 1990 in Athens. With a strong belief in health being a fundamental right, Prolepsis Institute has undertaken a leading role in the field of public health, by designing and implementing initiatives on various health issues and in different sectors (e.g. education, workplace) targeting a wide range of population groups, such as children and adolescents, women, migrants, and the elderly, and different types of occupational groups, such as health professionals, as well as policy makers, other NGOs and decision makers. As a coordinator or a partner Prolepsis Institute has participated in approximately 70 EU co-funded and numerous national projects implementing research, applied and educational initiatives, aiming at health promotion and education of the public, policy change and tackling health inequalities.

Human resources consist of a multi-disciplinary experienced team of physicians, health promotion and communication specialists, statisticians, psychologists, sociologists, economists, nutritionists, food technologists, each of which undertake distinct roles in the Institute’s projects. Moreover, the Institute encourages interdisciplinary and international co-operation, creating networks of collaboration not only in Greece but also in Europe and the USA.
